Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does the salsa last?

A: We ask you to enjoy our salsas within 5-7 days of purchase. We have a suggested “Best By” date on each container. Practice serving the amount of salsa you would like to enjoy in a bowl instead of dipping directly into the container to help with shelf life.

Q: Do you have any gluten free products?

A: Yes, all of our Salsas, Flacamole, Tortilla Chips*, Tortilla Strips*. Tostada Shells*, all Tamales.

*Our corn based products are fried in a different fryer from our flour based products.

Q: What type of oil is used for frying?

A: Canola oil is used for all of our fried products.

Q: Why was there an avocado pit in my Flacamole?

A: It is a strong belief (from mom) that when an avocado pit is placed in with your guacamole it will help with the shelf life so we add one to every container. Don’t you dare ask mom for scientific proof we will just add it!

Q: How do I warm up the tamales?

A: The tamales are fully cooked; reheating is all that is needed. You can place the tamale with husk on; in a vegetable steamer until fully warmed or you can wrap with a wet paper towel and place in microwave for about 2 minutes or more. After tamale is warmed up remove corn husk and enjoy!

Q: Do I need to order Flaca’s items ahead of time?

A: If you are hosting a big gathering, connect with us via our submission form above. Share with us what you are in need of, and we will guide you on the next steps. However, it is NOT necessary to order ahead of time. We do I very best to have inventory of our core menu items for you to share and enjoy for your gathering.
